After working on a few feature films, (Crystal doing costume design and Janell in production) it was blatantly obvious that the recession was in full swing, enabling them both to seek more substantial employment. Making ends meet was going to be harder than they had previously anticipated. Crystal, being the genuinely sweet Southern Belle she is, contributes her creative, out-of-the-box thinking while Janell's unyielding work ethic and critical mindset creates an unparalleled combination. Thanks to quick-thinking and an on-going entrepreneurial spirit, they decided to take a risk and open their own business. And that's when Cupcakes a GoGo was born.
